Nylon sheet is simular to other engineering plastics in that it is often available with performance improvers such as Molybdenum disulphide or MOS2, this is a graphite type self lubricant which helps with reducing friction and improves componant lifespan, this additive is only available with the black nylon sheet. Oilon or oil filled nylon sheet is a step further and this product can often provide an extended componant lifespan of over four times that of standard nylon. Other popular additivies are glass filled, this product will increase the rigidity of Nylon Sheet and also reduce the thermal expansion rate.
